Sandpoint Bike Week - 2009
May 30th to June 6th, 2009
Organized by Pend Oreille Pedalers and North Idaho Bikeways
Major Sponsors: Outdoor Experience, Sandpoint Sports, and Sports Plus
Our Third Year!
In 2007, we had over 250 bikers who made the First Annual Sandpoint Bike to Work Day a huge success.
Last year we had over 1,200 people participate to make the the first ever Sandpoint Bike Week a multi-day cycling success.
This year, we have another week of great bicycling related events. Sandpint Mayor Gretchen Hellar has Proclaimed May 30th through June 6th "Sandpoint Bike Week." Click here to see the Proclamation.  So leave your car in the driveway and hop on your bike!

Saturday June 13 | Cycle Hard for Education. It comes a week later, but the CHaFE 150 is Sandpoint's own long-distance bike ride event, looping along Lake Pend Oreille to Troy, Mont., and back through Bonners Ferry. It's a ride, not a race, and there's a 1/2 CHaFE that ends in Troy that's 75 miles. It raises money for education in Bonner County!    Click here for additional information. |
